Abigail Unger

Abigail (they/them) works as a Staff Attorney on the Anti-Harassment Tenant Protection Program team. Prior to joining BUJNYC, Abigail represented tenants and tenant associations in affirmative housing litigation, secured notable amounts in rent abatements, and obtained civil penalties and contempt fines against landlords. They hold a J.D. from Columbia Law School, a B.F.A. from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and a M.A. in applied theatre from the CUNY School of Professional Studies. Abigail is admitted to practice in New York State.
