Cassaddee Sicherer
Cass is a 2023 graduate of Rutgers Law School, is admitted to the NJS Bar, and is pending admission to the NYS Bar. Before joining Build Up Justice, Cass served as the Disability Justice and Accessibility Legal Fellow at the Fair Housing Justice Center. In this role, they aided complainants facing fair housing discrimination, observed fair housing disability litigation, and facilitated workshops aimed at empowering individuals to assert their fair housing rights. While attending Rutgers Law School, Cass interned with the Public Defender Service of D.C., worked as a Summer Clerk with the Disability Rights Advocates, and served as a Paul Marchand Fellow with the ARC of D.C. Additionally, as a law student, Cass worked as Clinical Staff at the Rutgers Education and Health law Clinic, where they conducted client intake, engaged in special education legal research, and supported clients through special education legal challenges.
