Luis Peralta

Prior to joining Build Up Justice NYC, Luis Peralta has had over 20 years of hands-on experience at social services, housing, and healthcare nonprofits administering GAAP standards, general accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, audit, taxes and grant management. Most recently he worked in various accounting and financial roles in NYC, such as at Encore Community Services, Acacia Network Housing, NY Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center, and Our Lady of Mercy Medical Center. Luis holds an M.B.A. in Accounting & Finance from Florida Institute of Technology, a B.S. in Accounting from Herbert H. Lehman College, and a Certificate in Leadership & Management from University of Pennsylvania – The Wharton Business School.
