Matthew Gallot-Baker

Matthew is a Staff Attorney in the Community and Economic Development Program where they provide legal assistance to small businesses across New York City. Prior to joining Build Up Justice NYC, Matthew was an Associate at Linklaters LLP, where he worked on matters involving commercial litigation, arbitration, and investigations. Alongside their professional work, Matthew maintained a robust pro bono practice, specializing in LGBTQ+ rights, religious liberties for underrepresented communities, and DEI-focused matters. Matthew holds a Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law, as well as a Bachelor of Arts and business certificate from the University of South Florida. He is admitted to practice law in New York as well as the Southern District of New York.
