Sam Calvit

Sam is a Law Graduate with Build Up Justice NYC’s Preserving Affordable Housing program. He earned both his B.A. and J.D. from Tulane University. Before law school, Sam spent three years at La Clínica Del Pueblo, a Washington, D.C.-based nonprofit providing healthcare services and domestic violence counseling to undocumented residents in the greater DMV area. After law school, Sam was admitted to the Louisiana bar and worked for three years as a Staff Attorney at Southeast Louisiana Legal Services in New Orleans, where his legal casework included employment law, public benefits, and disaster relief work. Sam speaks English and Spanish.
