Sara Dixon

Sara is a Staff Attorney in the Community and Economic Development Program where she provides legal assistance to small businesses across New York City. Prior to joining Build Up Justice NYC, Sara worked as an Investment Management associate at Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP. During law school, Sara was a Student Attorney in the Rutgers Federal Tax Law Clinic and interned at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Prior to attending law school, Sara worked for the California Department of Social Services and the California State Treasurer’s Office. She has interned at the United Nations in Washington, D.C. and at a human rights organization in Geneva, Switzerland. Sara holds a Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Berkeley.
