Tanya Silas

Tanya has dedicated her entire career to fundraising in support of civil legal services. Before joining Build Up Justice NYC, she served as Director of Development at Legal Services NYC for nearly a decade. She began her career at New York Lawyers for the Public Interest (NYLPI), where she built her expertise through a series of leadership roles in development. Tanya holds a Master’s degree in Corporate Communication from Baruch College, as well as a Master’s in Communication and a Bachelor’s in Nutrition from the University of Madras in India.
